Your year in sport

Every activity you recorded, read straight from the archive Strava lets you download: distance and time, climbing, streaks, records, best efforts, the places you went.

A made-up year, to see the page before you request your own archive.
Your data never leaves this device
  • Nothing is uploaded: there is no server to upload to. Your browser opens the archive and works out every figure on this computer.
  • No account, no cookies, no analytics.
  • The page is only allowed to contact its own address and the map tile server, and the maps can be turned off.

The zip as Strava sent it, or the folder it unzips to. Archives of several gigabytes are fine: only the files needed are read, never the photos.

With a folder, your browser may ask to “upload” it. That only lets this page read the files; nothing is sent anywhere.

Get your export from Strava

  1. Signed in to strava.com, open Download your account. From the menus, it's Settings → My Account, then Get Started.

Strava's settings page: the “Download your account” section and its Get Started button.
  2. Choose Request download.

One request a week. Strava lets you request the archive once a week, and asking again sooner only gets a “weekly limit” message. Request it once, wait for the email, and keep the zip: it opens here as often as you like.

Strava's answer to a second request within a week: “Download unavailable. You have reached your weekly limit.”
  3. Strava emails a link when the archive is ready. It can take a few hours.

  4. Download the zip and open it here. There is no need to unzip it.
